It is removable, interchangeable and mobile offering great versatility and meets the needs of BCA and the community in one.
Our Pelican Plus Pool and Spa Access Hoist with Platform Lift ensures that pools with a perimeter of 70 meters or more comply with the Disability (Access to Premises – Buildings) Standards 2010. According to D3.10 Swimming Pools (c), pools with a perimeter over 70 meters must provide at least one accessible water entry/exit, such as a platform lift and an aquatic wheelchair.

Our Pelican Pool Hoists have been used for pools (commercial and residential), spas and hydrotherapy environments as well as natural water environments where solid platforms are available for compliant installation.

Does the Pelican Pool Hoist require manual lifting?
No. The Pelican Pool Hoist is designed to reduce manual handling by providing a controlled, supported transfer into and out of the water. Powered by a 24v rechargeable battery and operated by a user-friendly hand control.
The Pelican Plus Pool & Spa Hoist can control both the up-and-down lifts as well as the left-and-right with the 360-degree powered rotation motor.
What seating or transfer options are available?
Options include floating slings and solid seating solutions suited to the user’s needs, as well as aquatic wheelchair, platform lift and spinal boards based on the Pelican model selected.
Is the Pelican Pool Hoist mobile or fixed?

What maintenance is required?
Regular inspections and servicing help ensure safe operation and product longevity. Routinely wipe down all surfaces of the hoist, using fresh water (not chlorinated).
