Complete Independence – The Pelican Plus is designed for independent use, empowering users to operate both the lifting and rotating functions without assistance, providing true autonomy in accessing pools and spas.
Powered Rotation Motor – The Pelican Plus features a powered rotation motor, enabling seamless 360-degree movement controlled via the hand-held control (unlike the standard Pelican model, which requires manual pivoting by a carer).
Versatile Applications – Suitable for installation in public pools, leisure centres, private homes, aged care, hotels, and schools. The Pelican Plus ensures that accessibility is available to everyone, everywhere.

No Manual Lifting or Rotation Required: Both the lifting and rotating mechanisms are powered, eliminating the need for any manual intervention, perfect for carers with limited upper body strength.
Safe Working Load: With a standard lifting capacity of either 150kg or 200kg safe workload, the Pelican Plus is built to accommodate a wide range of users safely and securely.
Battery Powered: The hoist is powered by a reliable Linak 24v rechargeable battery, ensuring consistent performance.
Construction: Constructed from Marine Grade 316 stainless steel and powder-coated to your choice of six Dulux colours, the Pelican Plus is designed to withstand the rigors of both indoor and outdoor pool environments.
Hand control: The Pelican Plus is equipped with a simple press-button four directional control hand switch, making it easy for users to operate the hoist independently.
Installation: Anchored to pool deck with Stainless Steel anchors and eye bolts.

The Pelican Plus Pool and Spa Access Hoist with Platform Lift offers direct access to pools via wheelchair without any manual lifting.

It is removable, interchangeable and mobile offering great versatility and meets the needs of BCA and the community in one.

Our Pelican Plus Pool and Spa Access Hoist with Platform Lift ensures that pools with a perimeter of 70 meters or more comply with the Disability (Access to Premises – Buildings) Standards 2010. According to D3.10 Swimming Pools (c), pools with a perimeter over 70 meters must provide at least one accessible water entry/exit, such as a platform lift and an aquatic wheelchair.
