STEP 2
ALWAYS MEASURE WHEN THE POOL SURFACE IS CALM.
PLEASE NOTE: This does not have to be completed if the pool wall and floor meet at 90° angle (sharp corner, not curved).
This diagram will allow us to determine the shape of the pool floor so that the Platypus Pool Steps match the shape of the bottom on the pool.
INSTRUCTIONS
One at a time, measure the below increments out from the pool wall, then measure from that point to the pool bottom and fill in the above table. Measurements must be done vertically and accurately.
- A = Commencement of curve at wall
- B = 50mm from the pool wall
- C = 100mm from the pool wall
- D = 150mm from the pool wall
- E = 200mm from the pool wall
- F = 250mm from the pool wall
- G = 300mm from the pool wall
- H = 800mm from the pool wall
Example: Measure along the water surface 50mm from the pool wall into the pool, from there measure vertically from the water level to the base of the pool – this is measurement B.
