At Para Mobility, we’re 100% committed to improving access, inclusion, awareness and opportunity across Australia. One of our key endeavours is the Mobility Foundation which was recently spotlighted by Club Life, recognising the Foundation’s far-reaching work in communities.
Since 1983 ClubLIFE has been the leading business magazine of the NSW club industry and the official publication of ClubsNSW.
Mobility Foundation is more than an initiative, it’s a commitment to real people, real needs, and real change. Through grants, donations, community engagement, and partnerships, the Foundation helps ensure that clubs, sporting groups, and community organisations can support people who might otherwise be left on the sidelines. Whether it’s access to adaptive equipment, support for inclusive programs, or capacity building for community groups, Mobility Foundation plays a role in opening doors.
Having that work acknowledged by a national platform like Club Life does more than give recognition. It amplifies visibility: raising public awareness about barriers faced by people with mobility limitations, showcasing what’s possible when communities step up, and inspiring others including clubs, corporates, individuals to invest in inclusion.
What Mobility Foundation stands for
- Inclusion & Equity: We believe that recreation and community participation should be available to everyone.
- Community Empowerment: By supporting local clubs, grassroots organisations, and community groups, we help build capacity for inclusion from the ground up.
- Independence & Opportunity: Adaptive equipment, accessible facilities, and tailored support aren’t luxuries, they’re enablers of independence, confidence, social connection and opportunity.
- Collaboration & Awareness: Our work encourages broader cultural change. When clubs and communities adopt inclusive practices, everyone benefits.
Recognition from Club Life validates the commitment and hard work we’ve poured into the Foundation. It reinforces our belief that inclusion is essential and it helps us carry the message into more communities: that accessible participation isn’t optional, it’s a human right.
We hope this feature will encourage more clubs, organisations, and individuals to partner with us, whether through funding, participation, or simply by raising awareness.
